About Us
Kaleidoscope Laser is a husband and wife team that brings decades of design and building experience to our company. Deb has a degree in architecture and eventually became a carpenter; learned to sew and made her own clothes by age ten. Floyd grew up in a farming family operating and repairing machinery. He also developed carpentry skills repairing barns, building sheds, benches, tables, and remodeling homes. He worked in manufacturing running a laser to cut parts from steel.
Our business was born out of necessity eight years ago when the economy took both our jobs. We knew 'making things' was what we do best, so we looked into a smaller version of laser like Floyd had run at his job. I guess you could say love at first sight and Kaleidoscope Laser was born. We worked out of our house. Took our skills on the road as 'carnies' at fairs, festivals and tractor shows. Now production is in our pole barn.
